7/19/2023 0 Comments Rhino for mac trialThe native application brings familiarity to both Apple users and experienced modelers alike. Rhino 7 for Mac opens the CAD world for macOS community. I think that could be key in dealing with clients, being always able to show your product to them. With Rhino 7, Mac users can use the latest version of Rhino without the need to run the software in a Windows environment through Bootcamp. The other cool thing is that they have an App for the iPad that allows you to show your projects on it, even letting you rotate and zoom. So far I’m still in the tutorials, which although good, are written for the PC version so the menus don’t always seem to match up, but on the whole it is fairly intuitive. However, ever since I downloaded the 90 day trial in September 2015, my computer has crashed once a day, sometimes more. (After 90 days, it will still work great to learn Rhino and to view Rhino and many other file formats.) Buy a license here. Saving is disabled after 90 days unless you buy a license. Follow along and learn by watching, listening and practicing. After downloading the trial for Rhino 6, I can’t open it because my version is 10.12 not 10.13. Rhino is a very well respected design software that is just getting ported over to OS X. While there are numerous programs out there, I’ve switched almost completely over to Apple right now, so I needed something that would work on my computers. While I have yet to start buiding my DIY CNC machine, I have started to learn some design software so that I can use the machine once it gets built.
